"I recently purchased a pre-owned bass boat from a private party and was worried - extremely worried about the engine and the lower unit. I was referred to Joe and all of the truly outstanding people at Sportsman's Outfitter and Marine and I couldn't be any more happy with the service and treatment I received. Being in sales, I have the highest of expectations and my expectations were far exceeded at Sportsmans. To ease my fears they actually took me and my boat out to the lake and personally tested it out before taking it back to their state of the art facility and performing a thorough inspection of the boat. Typically I would expect to wait days and days when getting a boat or a vehicle serviced, but they were able to do this the same day! Try getting service like that from Bass Pro or Cabelas....shops and retailers like that don't even compare to the personal attention and treatment that you will get from Sportsmans. "I bought a 2011 Harris from Carl, it was a great experience from sale to delivery. As a first time boat buyer, I had a lot of questions! "My 2003 Suntracker Deck boat was purchased from Sportsman's Outfitter and Marine new. It has been a wonderful boat with no problems. Any time I've had a question or needed anything, I've called Joe. He hasn't disappointed me. His mechanics are professional and very knowledgeable. They even make house calls!!! Joe himself has offered to come out on his personal time. "I bought my boat there in 2005 from Joe. I have had just a very few issues with it, but when I did have them they were taken care of right away. To this day I can walk in there and be recognized, be treated as a person, as one of them. Not just a person they are trying to make money off of, I beleive this is because they are boaters and fishermen just like their customers. When I buy again I will look nowhere else."

"Sportsman's Outfitters deserves an A+ rating. We had visited several boat dealers in the KC area before making our purchase. We found the staff friendly and knowledgeable about the boats and the outboards they were selling. After purchasing a new pontoon at their location, we had some minor issues and their response was lighting fast! No endless phone calls or being passed from one person to another to get a resolution. It was refreshing to deal with a company that cares about it's customers even after the purchase is made."

"To Whom It May Concern:
Over the last 3 1/2 years since I bought my Lowe FS175 boat, I have had several warranty issues. This included issues with consoles, returning the boat to the Lowe factory and repainting large areas, and the radio had to be replaced by your service department after it quit working. My Bimini top fabric ripped at the seams and fell apart. Your staff replaced the old fabric with new canvas, and rebuilt and installed it. These projects were all done in a timely manner and luckily, all were covered under warranty. In addition, my windshield fall apart, and your service department got that repaired for me at a minimal charge because it wasn't covered under the extended warranty.
In most of these situations, I dealt directly with Scott in your service department to get me back on the water. In all cases, he and the entire service staff were extremely courteous, and went the extra mile to make sure I was back on the water and didn't miss any important events. Even though sometimes due to all the problems I had, it felt like I might have a lemon, you guys helped me make lemonade out of them.
The most recent example of your great work happened last week. I had engine problems with my boat 4 months outside of the Mercury 3 year warranty. I did have a 3 + 3 extended coverage package for the boat and the repair was covered by that. However, the part wasn't readily available and the lead time to order meant it would probably be nearly a month before I would get back on the water. By Scott working with me, I found a part locally and by you working me into your schedule, it was installed and I was back on the water in days instead of weeks, as we feared when I brought it in. Thanks to Scott and your staff, I am going to be able to use my boat this weekend.
I deal with customer service issues at my company on occasion, and know the importance that customer satisfaction makes. At the company I work for, helping a customer get his problem fixed in a timely and courteous manner is one of the main reasons our customers say they would rather deal with us even if our price is higher, rather than our competitors. I also run my own small business and try to deal with my customers in that manner and it has really paid off. But obviously your company already is aware of this based on the service I have received.
Again, I just wanted to say thanks for the great service guys. I really appreciate it and will be a repeat customer when I need parts, repairs, accessories, or a new boat. Kudos to your entire service staff for a great job.
